Job Summary



We are seeking a meticulous and research-oriented

Systematic Literature Review (SLR) Writer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical and writing skills, with the ability to synthesise complex academic and technical information into clear, structured, and evidence-based reports. This role involves conducting comprehensive literature searches, evaluating research quality, and developing well-organised systematic reviews to support academic, technical, or policy-oriented projects. Proficiency in academic writing tools and reference management software is essential.

Responsibilities



Conduct systematic and scoping literature reviews across academic databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Develop and refine research questions, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and search strategies in line with PRISMA or similar standards. Critically appraise and synthesise research findings into coherent, evidence-based narratives. Draft, edit, and proofread systematic review manuscripts, ensuring clarity, logical flow, and adherence to academic style and referencing standards. Collaborate with researchers, subject-matter experts, and project leads to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals. Use reference management software (e.g., EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero) for citation organisation and formatting. Maintain accurate records of search strategies, screening results, and data extraction for transparency and reproducibility. Prepare figures, tables, and flow diagrams (e.g., PRISMA flowcharts) to visually represent review processes and findings. Update and revise existing literature reviews as new research emerges.

Experience and Skills



Proven experience conducting systematic or scoping literature reviews in academic, technical, or policy-related fields. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with reference management and data extraction tools. Excellent academic writing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and consistency. Strong understanding of research methodologies, evidence synthesis, and reporting frameworks (e.g., PRISMA, Cochrane). Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to summarise complex information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 24,420.00-57,965.59 per year
