Technical Year-End Accountant

Lead the development and delivery of an efficient and effective capital management service across the Council.
. Co-ordinate production of the Council\xe2\x80\x99s Medium Term Capital Programme.
. Monitor the Council\xe2\x80\x99s capital budget, investments and borrowing.
. Co-ordinate the production of the Council\xe2\x80\x99s annual Treasury Management Policy and Strategy Statement.
. Converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
. Be a point of escalation for the team and others. You are\xe2\x80\xa6
. A qualified CCAB accountant or equivalent.
. Experienced in technical accounting, financing and treasury management within a similar organisation.
. Successful in engaging effectively with others at a senior level and building productive partnerships with key stakeholders.
. Highly knowledgeable and experienced with IT systems.
