Overview

Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility Marston Green providing specialist technical support of Hydro-mechanical Fuel Control Units for the Aerospace industry globally.

Principle Accountabilities:

Build, evaluate and test hydromechanical fuel systems across a wide variety of Marston Green products: Fuel Metering units, Fuel Pumps, ram assisted actuators and various military products.


Teamwork is an essential part of the facility, bias for action and a culture of improving the processes with the help of all technicians is adopted. Openness and hard work are essential tools to success within the hydromech cells.

Personal Characteristics

Qualified to HNC/HND Degree level in Hydro-mechanical Engineering or relevant experience. Previous Aerospace Engineering experience desirable Problem-solving and analytical skills for dealing with repairs. Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. The ability to cope with new demands and new problems to be solved. Good communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team or individually. Technical knowledge of mechanical and fluid systems and manufacturing processes is preferred
