About The Role




An opportunity has arisen for a Technician to be part of our Falmouth campus technical team, on a fixed term basis until January 2026.

You will be supporting the operation of milling and finishing workshops, over two days per week. The role will involve supervising inducted students in milling, assisting with setup and troubleshooting software issues.

You will be undertaking regular maintenance and will be responsible for ensuring the workshop is a maintained as a safe and tidy environment at all times.

About You




You will be mechanically and practically minded as well as having a high degree of competence and substantial demonstrable recent experience in both areas.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

Qualification (e.g. NVQ4) or equivalent experience. An up to date knowledge of CNC milling and finishing and a commitment to continual specialist development. Ability to service and maintain technical facilities, equipment and processes.

This is a fixed term, part time, 14 hours a week position.

The hours are to be worked over 2, 7 hour days. The exact days are to be confirmed.
