We are seeking a self-motivated and confident Technician to support activities within our busy Construction Workshops. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.



You will:




Prepare workshop areas and resources to ensure students have the tools and materials they need.

Work alongside teaching colleagues to support the smooth running of practical classes.

Maintain and repair equipment across workshops and training areas.

Set up tools, equipment, and assessment areas for demonstrations and practical sessions.

Assist lecturing staff during practical lessons and demonstrations.

Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times.

What We're Looking For:




Practical skills in a construction-related trade.

Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in construction.

Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, stay organised, and meet deadlines.

Relevant qualifications in a construction-related industry.

Experience in a similar role within further education would be an advantage (though full training will be provided).
