WHAT YOU\'LL DO We\'re looking for enthusiastic, out of the box thinking Technicians with a thirst for knowledge, who want to be a part of the exciting future developments at Jaguar Land Rover. To join our ever-growing team in and around our Whitley and Gaydon Sites. It\'s an opportunity to be working with innovative technologies within state-of-the-art facilities. We are looking for people to work in: \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and Test Operations \xe2\x80\xa2 Powertrain Build and Test Operations We\'re looking for Technicians to cover a wide range of exciting roles across the whole of the product engineering and testing domain. We have invested heavily to ensure our facilities and equipment are world class, we need the best skilled colleagues to maximise our investment. WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR: \xe2\x80\xa2 Prototype build - Vehicles, Rigs, Batteries and Electric Drive Units \xe2\x80\xa2 Commissioning and running of test rigs from component to full vehicle \xe2\x80\xa2 Precise refinement of vehicles through our product development vehicle facilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Electrical and electronic tasks from the latest propulsion systems to cutting edge instrumentation \xe2\x80\xa2 Diagnosis and fault finding, adding value at every stage \xe2\x80\xa2 Fabrication and machining \xe2\x80\xa2 Manual Milling and Turning \xe2\x80\xa2 CNC Programming and operation \xe2\x80\xa2 Mechanical and electrical tasks We are invested in our people, we offer the opportunities to gain and broaden your skills in electrification and core automotive skills, overseas travel opportunities and the opportunity to further your career as far as you want to take it within Jaguar Land Rover. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential \xe2\x80\xa2 Be collaborative by nature \xe2\x80\xa2 The ability to work with peers and individually towards delivering a common goal \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate a \'can & will do\' attitude \xe2\x80\xa2 Help to ensure that workflow service level agreements and programme gateways are achieved \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with minimum supervision, whilst taking personal responsibility and ownership for your actions and the quality of your work. \xe2\x80\xa2 You\'ll need an understanding of, or work experience with, automotive systems and their associated safety standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 You\'ll need to be Level 3 NVQ/ City & Guilds qualified within the Automotive sector to be considered for these roles.
