Job responsibilities
Tasks & Responsibilities
Assessment, Communication and Organisation:
Inspect the case with the client
Ensure the client has realistic expectations about the quality and time of the repair
Inform clients about the warranty rules
Identify if the repair can be performed in the store or in the client care department
Provide an update for the customer if necessary due to difficulties or delays
Control the quality of a suitcase before it's sent back to customer
Use the systems (RMS, consult the spare catalogue, check statistics, specify request for developments, use V3, queries)
Keep workshop clean and organised
Keep spare parts organised and quantities at the right level
Repairs in the store:
Use the correct parts and tools for any repair
Perform main repairs according to Rimowa processes and standards
Creativity regarding very old suitcases (rare repairs or without original spare part available)
Maintenance and repairs of machines if possible
Coordinate repairs with the client care department:
Communicate with the client care department
Inform the customer about the lead time
Stock conditions
Keep stock well organised
Ensure to have the right kind and quantity of products in the stock
Provide your KPIs to the Store Manager
Enable Client Advisors to find products easily (explain your system)
Ensure that the stockroom is easily accessible and follows all local Health & Safety guidelines
Communicate to the store client advisors about out of stock items/items in tension
Plan and execute stock count following Rimowa stock count written procedure
Communicate with the Head Quarter
Co-ordinate with head office for annual stock counts
Follow and control the orders:
Validate delivery invoices in a timely manner
Supervise all deliveries and put them into the stockroom
Liaise with the supply chain team in a timely manner with issues regarding delivery couriers etc.
If no repair in the store - Help the Client Advisor team in selling
