Working as a Technologist at the Teesside Test House you will be responsible for a combination of the following tasks:
Facilitate the routine activities within the area on a daily basis to optimise delivery of customer SLA's, prioritising accordingly.
Recording and monitoring of workload / throughput using agreed KPIs
Compiling test reports, organising and validating certification processes
Reviewing internal and customer process routes to identify improvements and employ continuous improvement techniques to deliver enhancements
Supporting developments and manufacturing trials as applicable
Liaising with internal & external customers as required
Participate in internal and external quality & safety audits
Undertake quality and safety investigations as required
You will ensure your work is completed in compliance with all HS&E requirements in the area on a real time basis.
What we need to know about you
We are seeking a highly motivated, driven individual, preferably educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a Materials Science or Metallurgical discipline.
Familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) systems (ISO 9001 & ISO/IEC 17025) and Continuous Improvement (CI) techniques, along with strong communication skills, will be key to your success in this role.
