Job Description

The Marketing Technology Intern will provide hands-on support to the marketing operations and demand teams by executing repeatable, templated campaign builds and webinar/event configurations across Marketo, WordPress, Zoom, ON24 and Salesforce. This is an operational, execution-focused internship that includes structured training and close mentoring. The role gives an intern deep, practical experience in marketing automation and campaign operations and is a fantastic launchpoint for a career in automation and marketing technology.

Key responsibilities

Build and deploy Marketo campaigns and programs using provided briefs and templates (emails, landing pages, webform hosting, video tracking, automation flows). Configure and publish WordPress landing pages based on templates and content inputs. Set up webinar registrations and integrations for Zoom and ON24 (live and on?demand/simulive configurations). Support member management before and after events. Implement Salesforce campaign setups, validate lead flows and ensure CRM synchronization. Use Monday.com for intake, task tracking, stakeholder coordination and feedback handling. Execute QA and flow-testing for campaign journeys; troubleshoot and escalate issues. Manage key workflow documentation (marketo working document) and be responsible for the creation asset identifiers (form IDs, content IDs) for reuse across languages and program types. Provide schedule cover for team members and assist with reporting preparation.

Training & supervision

Structured onboarding including 15+ hours hands-on training and ongoing mentoring. Weekly troubleshooting/mentoring touchpoints with senior staff (~up to 2 hours/week). Broadly UK based demand generation and marketing operations team Vibrant UK intern community.

Who you are (required)


--------------------------

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related field. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to follow templated processes precisely. Comfortable working with technical tools and learning new platforms quickly. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Nice-to-have (preferred)

Familiarity with marketing automation concepts (Marketo or similar). Experience or coursework concerning basic web content management, or CRM concepts. Prior exposure to webinar platforms (Zoom, ON24) or event operations. Experience using Monday.com, or similar project management tools. Multi-language/cultural program experience is a plus.
