Purpose




The Technology Team Assistant supports the IT department by managing budgets, coordinating software licenses and renewals, raising purchase orders, and assisting with key projects such as the Microsoft True-Up. The role requires an autonomous approach, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely renewals, and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities



Coordinate software license requests, approvals, and allocations. Raise IT-related purchase orders and ensure appropriate sign-off. Support key activities such as the Microsoft True-Up. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage renewals and identify cancellations. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, contracts, and licenses. Provide general administrative support, including scheduling and reporting. Assist with ad hoc IT projects and team initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in IT support, technology operations, or administration in a similar role, ideally handling software licensing, procurement, or IT asset management. Strong understanding of IT processes, systems, and software licensing compliance. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in stakeholder management, collaborating with technical teams and senior management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Highly organised with attention to detail, maintaining accurate records and supporting administrative processes.
