Telehandler (bagging and kitting)

Company Overview

Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Telehandler whose main responsibility is bagging of aggregate landscaping products. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and interacting with customers.

The company operates new JCB 350 telehandlers.

Key Responsibilities

Bagging

: Placing aggregates in to bags using a bucket attachment ready for loading.

Loading/Unloading

: Handle landscaping materials for customer vehicles and delivery trucks.

Customer Assistance

: Provide and assistance in loading customers vehicles.

Housekeeping

: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rear stock yard area.

Stock Management

: Move heavy stock items around the yard. Maintain Stock Levels
Required Skills

Understanding of metric & imperial measurements. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Comfort with working outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods.
Preferred Skills

Experience in garden, construction, or landscaping environments. Knowledge of fencing and landscaping products, techniques, and materials. Customer-facing experience. Valid tele handling and/or forklift truck licence.
Location

Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre, Forshaw Heath Road, Earlswood, Solihull, B94 5JU. Next to Earlswood railway station, 1 mile from junction 3 of the M42. Own transport is advisable due to limited public transport.

Terms

Salary

: 10.00 to 12.70.00 per hour.

Hours

: 40 hours per week (5 days including one weekend day).

Holiday

: 28 days per annum (including bank holidays).
