Telesales Executive
to join us.
The Role
As a
Telesales Executive
, you'll be based at our Padiham office, working closely with colleagues across Sales, Projects, and Marketing. You'll be responsible for engaging with both new and existing customers, identifying opportunities, and helping them access the full range of services and solutions LCM offers.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building rapport over the phone, enjoys the challenge of cold calling, and is motivated by targets and results. You'll be supported by a knowledgeable team and given the tools and training to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
Proactively make outbound calls to prospective customers using a designated call list, online research tools and self-generate leads.
Confidently handle inbound sales enquiries, distributing them to the relevant project manager and where possible converting to opportunities.
Cross-sell and upsell products and services to maximise customer value and satisfaction.
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted point of contact.
Account Management & Collaboration
Manage and nurture existing accounts, identifying new sales opportunities within them.
Work closely with Project Planners and Project Managers to support the quoting process for larger projects.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to follow up on campaign leads and set appointments for relevant staff.
CRM & Quotation Accuracy
Prepare accurate quotations using our CRM system, ensuring:
All company and contact details are correct
Customer purchase orders are received and logged
Pricing reflects the latest system price list
Credit checks and new customer onboarding procedures are followed
Lead Generation & Market Development
Generate new leads under the guidance of your line manager, using a mix of data sources and research.
Identify and research potential clients and market sectors to expand our reach.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to promote LCM and build brand awareness.
Customer Service & Problem Solving
Investigate and resolve customer service issues, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Provide feedback to internal teams to help improve processes and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in telesales or B2B sales
Preferable background in fuel or electrical sales
Proven ability to build rapport and close sales over the phone
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with cold calling and lead generation
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Experience in the fuel industry is highly desirable
