Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civils Crew to excavate, clear blockages and re-instate within the public highway and customer properties across Bristol and surrounding areas.

please note: already established crews of 2 will be prioritised during the selection process

Job Requirements

Perform general civils and maintenance tasks, including trench excavation, duct laying and repair and backfilling.

Clear blockages and reinstate to a high standard

Set up and maintain a safe site set up

Plan and co-ordinate site works in fully compliant with client standards, current legislation and health and safety requirements

Complete relevant risk assessments, self-auditing and apps

Train and upskill colleagues

Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the role

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

Must hold a full UK driving licence

Must hold in-date NRSWA, SA006/GO1/2, K8, BBM1, CD1, Q020/DB1 and DL1 qualifications

Previous experience of blockage clearance and re-instatement

Strong problem solving skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent communication skills

Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.

The right candidates will be onboarded on a self-employment basis, paid for work completed on a rate card.

The role is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
