Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to transport, lift, and move materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate telehandlers to lift and move materials as required on site. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials from lorries and other vehicles. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling tasks effectively. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with other machinery operations, including excavators, as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in operating telehandlers or similar machinery is essential. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting equipment as required. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery. Experience operating excavators is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
