Telehandler operator required for ongoing project in Wellingborough. Applicants must hold a valid CPCS. Operator is required to do labouring tasks when not on the machine.

Job Summary:

As a Telehandler, you will utilize your commercial driving skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials. This is a full-time position that offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate telehandlers to lift, move, and position materials as required
- Transport materials to designated areas within the worksite using the telehandler
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the equipment
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate material movements
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Telehandler or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in commercial driving and operating telehandlers
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to operating telehandlers
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
