Job Overview
Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler to join an ongoing project in Sheffield.
Responsibilities
Operate telehandlers to lift, move, and place materials as required on-site. Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of materials moved and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on telehandlers as needed. Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries or storage areas.
Requirements:
Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Operator certification (or equivalent). Proven experience in a similar role on construction or agricultural sites. Strong understanding of site safety and lifting regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical fitness and hand-eye coordination.
