Job Description

The Telesales Agent will be responsible for qualifying new leads, broadening our reach to new contacts and working closely with our Senior Account Managers converting new business. This will involve working on new sales channels, territories and establishing brand new relationships.

Role Overview



During an exciting period of growth at Excelothene Ltd, we are looking to hire a team of Telesales Agents to join the existing Sales & Marketing Team.

The Telesales Agent will be responsible for cold calling new businesses, qualifying their need for polythene packaging, and working closely with our Senior Account Managers nurturing contacts into new accounts. This will involve working on new sales channels, territories and establishing brand new relationships.

Generating enquiries and leads via phone is the essence of the role. The chosen candidate will need to be self-motivated, hardworking, tenacious and adaptable with a dedicated and productive work ethic.

To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality and confidence in delivering outbound calls, and working within KPI's and set targets.

This role is ideal for someone who excels at relationship selling, has a warm and enthusiastic personality and the ability to talk to anyone. The candidate should be organised, effective with a positive outlook and an engaging personality.

Specific responsibilities



? Maintain making consistent quality calls to new businesses that we can sell to

? Hit and exceed specific targets and tasks

? Ensure accurate records are maintained and information is correctly updated to our CRM system

? Making sales calls in a professional and efficient manner at all times

? Continuously prospect for new customers via outbound calling

? Assist account management team with converting leads into new business

Main elements of role

Strong communication with potential new customers and inhouse office staff

Proactive contact with potential new customers ensuring Excelothene have the opportunity to meet customer/prospect needs

Liaison with office team on a daily basis regarding new business to quote

Maintaining the correct use and update of data to our systems

Cover for office functions during staff absence as required

Skills, knowledge and experience required



Experience in Telesales and Marketing Strong communication skills Excellent telephone manner and conversational confidence Proven track record in generating leads and opening doors to new business Excellent organisational skills Proactive, focused, self-disciplined, and self-motivated Ability to flourish and learn within a new industry Basic mental arithmetic and the use of the English language
