Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Telephonist/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting clients, and providing excellent customer service. This role is crucial for maintaining effective communication within the organisation and ensuring a smooth operational flow. This is a full time in-person role, based in our Swansea office.
Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming calls in a polite, efficient, and professional manner
Greet visitors and clients warmly as they arrive
Manage the flow of guests entering and exiting the premises
Inform staff of guest arrivals or calls
Keep the reception area and offices tidy and presentable at all times
Provide basic information or directions when requested
Provide accurate information or redirect callers to the appropriate department
Maintain a courteous and calm demeanour at all times
Ensure excellent customer experience during every interaction
What We're Looking For:
Clear, confident telephone manner
Strong listening and communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
Dependable with a professional attitude
Previous experience as a telephonist or in a similar customer-facing phone role is desirable
