Job Summary

A Telesales and Account Maintenance Assistant would be responsible for supporting the Account Managers and Sales Office team by maintaining and growing existing customer accounts through telephone-based sales. This role would involve building strong customer relationships, capturing orders in a timely manner from both existing and lapsed accounts, capturing and updating access and contact detail from both existing and lapsed account and communicating all to sales office.

Key Responsibilities

Pulling together reports of accounts that have not yet ordered in time for their weekly delivery daily from Brewman.

Make daily outbound sales calls to existing customers, ensuring orders are captured in a timely manner to fit on designated dray routes.

Update access and contact details on Brewman customer accounts to ensure all detail needed for a smooth delivery.

Ensure that customer accounts are aware of their Account Manager contact, the ordering process, cut off time for orders as well as upselling new and existing products.

Communicating correct orders and customer details to the Sales office team.

Maintain an accurate record of interactions using the CRM tool on Brewman.

Call out to lapsed accounts, to try to reestablish a trading relationship, to put in touch with appropriate field account manager, or to notify the sales office if business has ceased trading.

Achieving strong inter-departmental relationships with the Sales Office, Sales Account Managers and the Distribution team.

Skill and Experience Requirements

Experience in telesales.

Use of Excel and Outlook.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.

Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain customer and internal relationships.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently within a busy office.

An interest in beer and the brewing industry is welcome but not essential as familiarisation with our product range will be provided as part of training.

Kirkstall Brewery will provide full training on our Brewman system.
