We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Tele Sales Executive to join our small, friendly, and fast-moving science communication company, based in Cheshire. This is a remote,
4-day week, work-from-home position
ideal for a results-driven sales professional who thrives in a high-trust environment.
As part of our close-knit team, you'll play a key role in connecting scientists and universities with our innovative communication services, including animations, podcasts, and visual storytelling tools. You'll be responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and closing sales that make a real difference in how science reaches the world.

The Role
This full-time, self-employed position involves:
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Conducting outbound video and telephone calls and email outreach to targeted prospects.
Identifying opportunities through your own research, as well as responding to warm inbound leads.
Managing your activity and pipeline.
Working closely with a small team including creatives and project managers to ensure seamless handover and project delivery.
Selling solutions, not just services--understanding a client's challenges and positioning our products as the answer.
Working Hours & Structure
Four-day work week: Monday to Thursday
Hours: 11:00am - 6:30pm (UK time)
Remote, self-employed role (you must have a quiet, professional home office setup)
Essential Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and demonstrates the following:
At least 12 months of media sales or telesales experience
A confident and persuasive phone manner
A strong understanding of solution-based selling
Proven ability to work independently and manage your own time
Excellent written communication skills (for high-volume email engagement)
Strong organisational skills and CRM experience
Positive, energetic and friendly attitude
Resilience, confidence, and a desire to exceed targets
Ability to build rapport quickly with clients
Experience using tools such as LinkedIn for lead generation
Desirable Attributes
A background or interest in science, media, education, or publishing
Experience handling and responding to up to 100 emails per day
Familiarity with academic, university, or research environments
Experience working in a high-performance, remote-first sales environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base retainer:
18,000 per annum
Uncapped commission + performance bonuses
On-target earnings: 31,500 - 46,800+ per year
