About the role:
The Telesales Team Leader will lead, motivate, and manage a team of Telsales Representatives to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for viva.com's in-person payment solutions. The focus is on the UK SMB market, particularly within retail, hospitality, and other fast-moving sectors. The Telesales Team Leader is responsible for driving performance through effective coaching, training, and data-driven decision-making.
More specifically, as a Direct Sales Team Leader, you will:
Lead the Telesales Team to achieve/exceed both individual and team KPI's and sales revenue targets;
Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns to drive performance;
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (e.g., call volume, conversion rate, revenue);
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members through regular one-to-one sessions and performance reviews;
Conduct training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement skills;
Use CRM systems to track performance, manage pipelines, and generate sales reports;
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment on lead generation and campaign execution;
Handle escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally;
Identify underperformance and implement corrective action plans;
Recruit, onboard, and develop the Telesales team to maintain a high-performing team culture;
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on performance trends and improvement opportunities.

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in leading outbound Telesales processes;
Proven track record of sales achievement of leading successful Telesales Teams;
Experience in B2B sales, ideally selling to small businesses owners;
Familiarity with CRM and dialer systems (MS Dynamics, Genesys PureCloud or Similar).
