We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our city centre Asian Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Supervisor will be responsible for guiding staff, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the overall success of the team.

Duties



Supervise daily food preparation and cooking activities to ensure consistency and quality. Oversee team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a productive work environment. Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimise workflow. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all operations. Assist with food production processes, including plating and presentation standards. Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders as necessary. Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, cleanliness, and hospitality standards. Support training initiatives for new team members and ongoing staff development programmes.

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively. Experience in food safety protocols and maintaining hygiene standards. Familiarity with food production processes in both kitchen and service settings. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable. Leadership qualities with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in service delivery. Knowledge of serving procedures and hospitality industry standards. Additional experience such as barista or catering experience is advantageous but not essential. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
