We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
Manage food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
Develop innovative menus in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
Train and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development within the team
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive food production and culinary experience, including menu development and food presentation skills
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
Solid background in food safety practices and hygiene standards
Previous experience in restaurant settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation
Experience in serving customers directly is advantageous but not essential
