Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Temporary Assistant to join our team for our upcoming arts and crafts workshops for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with kids and a love for arts and crafts. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in education, child care, or the arts.

Duration:



5 - 15th August 2025, Tuesday - Friday

10 am - 2 pm

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the setup and cleanup of workshop spaces. Support the lead instructor during workshops, ensuring all children are engaged and following along. Provide hands-on assistance to children, helping them with various arts and crafts projects. Monitor and manage the behaviour of children to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Help prepare materials and supplies for each session. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and improvement of workshop activities.

Requirements:



Aged 18 or older.

Experience working with children in any capacity (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, coaching).

Food Hygiene Certificate at Level 2 or above.

- ESSENTIAL

First Aid/CPR certification

- ESSENTIAL
An interest in arts and crafts; prior experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team and take direction.

Preferred Qualifications:



Background in education, art, or a related field. Experience in a similar role or setting.
