We are seeking a Temporary Client Accounts & Bookkeeping Assistant to provide cover during staff absence. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth running of our client and business accounts, maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day client account transactions including rent collection, landlord floats, contractor payments, deposits and deductions.
Ensure compliance with Client Money Protection regulations and internal ARLA/PRS procedures.
Carry out bookkeeping for business accounts, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliations.
Perform bank reconciliations for both client and company accounts.
Support with month-end and year-end reporting.
Handle queries from landlords, tenants, and contractors relating to accounts.
About You
Proven experience in client accounting within lettings/property management.
Strong background in bookkeeping and reconciliation (business and client accounts).
Knowledge of property/accounting systems (e.g. Xero).
High attention to detail with strong numerical skills.
Confident communication style and ability to work independently.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
