Temporary Harvest Worker (Night Shift Operator)

Simpsons Malt is one of the UK's biggest malting companies with 150+ years of successful supply to brewers and distillers with a customer range from the smallest craft and microbrewers to multi-nationals in the UK and around the world, and we are now proudly B-Corp accredited.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us for the remainder of the harvest season. We are looking to employ a keen person to assist with intake during the harvest period. Basic job details are as follows:

Tipping of lorries into correct intake bins. Grain drying and assisting with the storage of grain bulks. General site housekeeping and hygiene to meet company policies.

Key requirements:

Flexibility with working hours. Basic computer skills - programming equipment and ensuring machine controls are set correctly. Reliable and self-motivated. Good team player. Strong communication skills. Be able to work without supervision.
