Your Role as Head Housekeeper
As the Head Housekeeper at Priesty Fields, you will lead by example in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across our home. Your role is essential in creating a safe, welcoming, and dignified environment for all residents and staff. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a High-Performing Team:
Supervising and motivating the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver outstanding service, maintaining cleanliness and comfort in all areas of the home.
Ensuring a Welcoming Environment:
Overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of communal areas, residents' rooms, and facilities to create a homely, pleasant atmosphere.
Upholding Hygiene and Compliance Standards:
Implementing and monitoring cleaning schedules and infection control procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Managing Laundry Services:
Coordinating efficient laundry operations, ensuring residents' clothing and linens are cleaned, handled, and returned with care, respecting their preferences and dignity.
Collaborating Across Departments:
Working closely with care and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and a consistent, high-quality experience for residents.
Training and Development:
Supporting the onboarding and ongoing training of domestic staff, ensuring all team members understand and meet required standards.

Ready to respond to the changing needs of the home, with a flexible and proactive mindset.
