Job Description

We are looking for a number of

temporary LGV Class 1 Drivers

to support our operations during the peak period based out of

South Elmsall, Pontefract

.

These positions will start on

15th & 22nd September 2025

and run

until 24th January 2026

Shifts available are

:

South Elmsall

Mids - 4 over 7, 45 hours per week Lates - 5 over 7, 45 hours per week

The base pay rate

(06:00-22:00) is:

Monday - Friday

17.36ph,

Saturday

19.85ph,

Sunday

22.40ph

And the

night rate

(22:00-06:00) is:

Friday Night

: 22.40ph,

Saturday Night

: 25.40ph,

Sunday - Thursday Night

: 19.85ph

We also pay

additional premium rates

of

weekly overtime x1.3

and

rest day working of x1.5

and a

bonus scheme

that sees you earn up to

6%

of your quarterly salary (paid every 3 months)

What the role involves

:

You'll be a part of our critical operation transporting clothing and homeware products to our distribution centres and stores in the UK.

Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.

Licence requirements Class 1 C+E and CPC card Maximum of 6 points on licence No penalty points/convictions A "Safety First" mindset, where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues. Passion to provide excellent customer service Respect towards colleagues, equipment and product.
