The vacancy

We're looking for a dedicated Lecturer (Multi-Skills) to join our Construction team, delivering high-quality teaching across a range of trades including Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork, Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, and Tiling.

Essential Criteria

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
• Qualified to at least Level 2 in one trade area, with competence in at least one additional trade.
• Strong understanding of innovative teaching techniques and internal quality processes.
• Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across multiple trade disciplines to further education learners.
• Develop curriculum materials and assess student work to ensure learning goals are met.
• Lead and coordinate course teams, contributing to course verification and quality assurance.
• Support student recruitment, guidance, and progression through mentoring and coaching.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in your specialist areas and contribute to departmental development.
