Role Overview:
As a Lecturer in ESOL, you will deliver courses to a diverse range of students across various levels. This post involves preparing and delivering teaching materials, collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches, and utilising learning technologies effectively. You'll work closely with the Curriculum Manager to enhance learning and teaching within the School of ESOL.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver engaging ESOL courses.
Develop new teaching approaches, incorporating learning technologies.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning experiences.
Assess and provide high-quality feedback to students.
Foster a learner-focused environment
Requirements:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
Hold a CELTA or TESOL qualification.
Ideally, have a DELTA or equivalent qualification.
Ideally, some experience delivering SQA ESOL qualifications in an FE setting
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
Flexible and positive attitude.
