Belmont Healthcare Group have an immediate requirement for a Payroll and HR Business Partner, based at our Head Office in Redditch, B98, for an initial 3 month contract. The role will process 8 payrolls each month and will be responsible for everything payroll and employment related. This role will also offer support to colleagues within the Finance and Administration Function on a regular basis.
About the role:
Process weekly and monthly payrolls (circa 400 employees) paid once a month on two different cycles, manage payslip distribution via Sage HR
Manage NEST and private pensions ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment
Manage payroll related payments (net pay, P32, DoA, AoE, Class 1a) in line with HMRC requirements
Manage employee data held in T&A system to ensure accuracy, process starters and leavers ensuring correct documentation is issued (P45, P46)
Post / link payroll journals into Sage 50
Ensure a compliant employee life cycle: ensure all employment records are complete and compliant for all of the Belmont entities.
Manage bank staff and holiday accruals
Liaise with site Managers as their main point of contact for all payroll / employee related queries
About you:
Experience in processing salaried payrolls and payrolls using rota reports from a T&A system (eg Rotacloud), with some basic HR / compliance knowledge
Experience of Sage Payroll and Sage HR preferable although not essential
Significant knowledge of UK payroll and auto-enrolment, basic HR and employment compliance including RTW
Knowledge of sponsorship of overseas workers preferable
Knowledge of SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to work with autonomy and discretion
Pay / hr negotiable

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour
