Job Description

Wilfrid Whittingtons is the UKs largest florist sundry wholesaler. Established for over 60 years, Whittingtons Silk Flower and Plant Centres are packed with quality products not just for florists and flower arrangements but any kind of business. We pride ourselves on our outstanding product knowledge and excellent customer service. We are based at 16 locations nationwide, remain family run, and are very proud of our reputation as a florist supplier of choice.

We are now looking for a part-time customer service focused person, preferably with some floristry / customer service experience to join our friendly team at our Nottingham branch (based at Victoria Parkway, Netherfield) on a temporary contract. This is to cover a busy period before its closure on 24 December 2025.

Full training will be provided where necessary but the following skills are beneficial to this position

Experience or a keen interest in floral and craft products Good numerical skills Customer service skills / experience Sound knowledge of computerised tills (though training can be provided) Retail experience an advantage but not essential Can work on own initiative Some lifting will be required Verbal communication skills essential
Hours are Tuesday and Friday 9am - 5pm. Occasional holiday cover may also be expected.

Fixed term contract to end on 24 December 2025.

Rate of Pay - minimum wage
