Mitsubishi Air Conditioning Systems launched its operations in the UK air conditioning market in 1985. The Livingston factory, located 18 miles from Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, was officially registered in 1993.


Production began in 1994, and M-ACE serves as the central hub for Mitsubishi's heating and air-conditioning operations in Europe, employing around 1000 personnel across its seven locations.


Currently functioning as the group's hub for the air conditioning sector in Europe, the facility collaborates with other group factories located in Japan, Thailand, and China.


In 2009, M-ACE began to expand by entering the domestic heating market with the production of air-to-water heat pumps.


By utilising innovative and high-quality proven technologies, M-ACE manufactures air conditioners and heat pumps with built-in advanced intelligence. Looking to the future, we will continue to introduce new models to comply with European regulations and meet diverse market needs.


A temporary vacancy has arisen for a Production Supervisor within our manufacturing facility in Livingston, working on the following shift pattern:

Dayshift: Monday - Wednesday 06.30am until 5pm & Thursday 06.30am until 4pm

As a Production Supervisor at Mitsubishi Electric, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing production operations to ensure efficiency and quality. This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to excellence in manufacturing while contributing to our mission of creating innovative solutions for various industries.

The main purpose of the Supervisor role is:

Leading, supervising & monitoring performance of section To ensure health & safety of all employees. To ensure required quality standards are consistently achieved To ensure effective & efficient utilisation of labour & machines within production section To ensure production schedule is achieved

The key tasks of the position include:

Monitor the safety of all employees and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure employees within section adhere to company policies. To monitor daily attendance and timekeeping and maintain procedural controls. To communicate daily performance & highlight any relevant information to senior management Set up & maintain labour groups to efficiently achieve schedules To identify training requirements, train and verify competence of all employees. To continuously monitor performance against KPI's and performance indicators. To ensure basic preventative maintenance check sheets are completed. Ensure effective communication between operators and fellow supervisors. To ensure all employees aware of & maintain good 5S practice.
