We are embarking on an exciting project to retrofit our social housing properties to reduce fuel poverty and improve the standard of our properties for our tenants
In the role you will work with the FM team and tenants who are having retrofit works done to their homes, working to PAS 2035 standards.
You'll support the Project Manager and wider team with tenant engagement through the whole retrofit journey and will be part of a team making a real difference to our tenants and their homes.

About this job:
This role will be working with and supporting tenants who are having retrofit works done to their homes .
Here's what you'll get up to:
You'll be supporting the Project Manager in developing and implementing a tenant engagement plan
You'll be visiting tenants in their homes to provide support and updates
You'll be liaising with contractors about the work they are undertaking
You'll be liaising with other teams in the council to co-ordinate communication and ensure tenants are supported, engaged and informed
Working pattern:
Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays
This is a full time role working 37 hours per week

We support flexible working and working from home with regular visits to the office when collaborating with colleagues, attending staff conferences and team meetings.

About you, the ideal candidate for the job:
Your knowledge
Tenant engagement and techniques used to maximise tenant buy in
Different forms of public engagement including early engagement, consultations and surveys
Retrofitting standards e.g. PAS2035
Experience
Working to deadlines in a pressurised environment
Collaborating with a number of teams to achieve desired outcomes
Flexible approach to work
Tenant engagement in a social housing environment
Skills
Excellent communication skills in different forms of media
Competent in MS Office and other service based software
Prioritising workload to meet deadlines
Your qualifications
Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a basic DBS check as part of their pre-employment clearances.
