Tenant Liaison Officer
to support our housing association retrofit programmes and general property improvement projects.
The Role:
As a
Tenant Liaison Officer
, you will be the key point of contact between residents, our delivery teams, and our housing association partners. You'll ensure tenants are kept informed and supported before, during, and after works -- particularly for energy efficiency measures such as insulation, heating upgrades, and renewable installations. You'll also assist with wider tenant liaison duties, helping to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all residents impacted by our works

Key Responsibilities
Act as the main contact for tenants throughout energy efficiency and home improvement projects.
Explain the nature, benefits, and timelines of upcoming works in clear, accessible language.
Coordinate appointments, access arrangements, and tenant communications.
Work closely with site teams, project managers, and housing association representatives.
Support vulnerable or elderly residents to ensure their needs are met during project delivery.
Handle tenant queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
Conduct pre-visit, progress, and post-completion checks to ensure tenant satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of interactions and project progress.
Contribute to continuous improvement by reporting trends or recurring issues to management.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a
Tenant Liaison Officer
,
Resident Engagement
, or
Customer Service
role (essential).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and understanding approach.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
Knowledge of
energy efficiency measures
,
retrofit works
, or
social housing projects
(desirable but not essential).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required).
