Working Hours: Part Time, 20 hours per week

We are seeking a talented and experienced Tender and Bid Writer to join our dynamic commissioning team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a strong understanding of various contract formats such as Public Contract Scotland, and the ability to engage diverse audiences. As a Senior Writer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives that align with our brand's voice and objectives. Your expertise will lead the development and execution of best practice and contribute to the development of high-quality Tender processes & content across multiple platforms, ensuring clarity and impact.


We need you to bring a level of challenge to the business, adding value to the strategic and commercial conversations. You will be someone who is dynamic, wants to oversee and take charge.

Duties

- You will be responsible for the day to day leadership of bids and the strategic development of the internal tender process:

Manage and coordinate the bid pipeline. Qualifying opportunities with our Leadership Team. Developing bid win strategy with our Operational Team Develop presentations that may be required as part of a Tender process. Develop and produce engaging written content for various channels, including PCS etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights necessary for bid content creation. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Conduct thorough research on industry trends and topics to inform writing and enhance content relevance. Mentor junior writers by providing guidance on best practices in writing and editing. Utilise software for tracking project progress and managing deadlines effectively. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for content campaigns. Management of full tender cycle Using Project Management techniques to ensure a well managed process. Taking personal responsibility to drive the process forward.

Experience



Proven experience of managing bids and tender process for different sized opportunities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High levels of credibility with the ability to influence Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional grammar , editing and punctuation skills. Strong organisational and Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. A keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling that resonates with target audiences.
