Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging tennis training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Organize and oversee friendly matches, tournaments, and practice drills to promote healthy competition and skill development Provide personalized coaching tips and feedback to improve technique, footwork, and game strategy Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and court maintenance Foster a positive environment by encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful communication among participants Collaborate with other sports coaches and activity leaders to integrate tennis into broader fitness or youth programs Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and coaching plans to track athlete development

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on tennis; previous experience as a tennis instructor is highly valued Strong background in physical education or teaching physical activities to diverse age groups Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings Knowledge of related sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming, or gymnastics is a plus Excellent behavior management skills to motivate participants while maintaining discipline on the court Lifeguard experience or familiarity with health club environments is advantageous for safety oversight Ability to communicate clearly and foster a fun yet disciplined atmosphere that encourages learning and participation
