Duties



Plan and deliver comprehensive tennis training programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels Lead engaging practice sessions that emphasize proper technique, strategy, and sportsmanship Monitor player progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement Organize and oversee tennis matches, tournaments, and friendly competitions to encourage participation Maintain a safe playing environment by enforcing rules, managing equipment, and ensuring proper court maintenance Collaborate with other sports coaches to integrate cross-training activities such as basketball, climbing, or martial arts when appropriate Support the development of behavioral management strategies to motivate players and foster teamwork

Skills



Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly tennis instruction, with a strong understanding of game techniques and rules Background in teaching physical education or related sports such as basketball, cheerleading, or martial arts like karate or judo Experience working with students of diverse ages and abilities; capable of adapting coaching methods accordingly Knowledge of health club or gym operations is a plus for integrating fitness components into training programs Strong communication skills to effectively teach skills, manage behavior, and motivate participants Ability to demonstrate leadership in behavior management while fostering a positive learning environment Lifeguard experience or familiarity with swimming safety protocols is advantageous for comprehensive aquatic and sports programming
