10is Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tennis Coach (LTA Level 2 or ex-PE teacher) to join our friendly, family-focused club in Ely. You'll deliver high-quality on-court coaching to juniors and adults, helping players of all ages and abilities develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.We provide structured lesson plans and a clear coaching framework based on our Spanish/Italian-inspired philosophy, so you'll have strong guidance and support while still having room to bring your own personality to sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging tennis sessions using our provided lesson plans and coaching framework
Adapt sessions to different ages and ability levels (juniors and/or adults)
Provide clear, constructive technical and tactical feedback to help players improve
Organise drills, matchplay, and games that build teamwork, resilience, and tactical understanding
Track player progress and communicate development clearly to players and, where relevant, parents/guardians
Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and a positive, inclusive atmosphere on and off the court
Ensure player safety and welfare at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety guidelines
Support club events, internal competitions, and community outreach activities when required
Requirements
EITHER:
LTA Level 2 Tennis Coach (or working towards Level 2 with strong experience), OR
Qualified ex-PE teacher with strong racket sport/tennis experience and willingness to follow our coaching framework
Proven experience coaching children and/or adults in a school, club, or sports setting
Good understanding of tennis technique and tactics (we can support tennis-specific development for ex-PE teachers)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, encourage, and build rapport
Strong organisational skills to manage groups and sessions effectively
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends in line with the coaching programme
Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe, supportive environment for all players
Genuine passion for sport, player development, and helping people enjoy being active
This role is ideal for an LTA Level 2 coach or ex-PE teacher who wants clear structure (lesson plans and framework provided), cares about long-term player development, and wants to be part of a growing, values-driven tennis academy.

Pay: 15,975.76-22,495.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
