We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering morning and/after school sessions at schools in Guildford. This role offers an opportunity to inspire individuals through sport, encouraging personal growth and physical development.
Duties
Plan and deliver training sessions tailored to athletes' age and skill levels
Provide guidance on technique, strategy, and fitness to optimise performance
Motivate athletes to achieve their personal and team goals
Organise and supervise practice matches and competitions
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to athletes
Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among participants
Ensure all training activities adhere to safety standards and organisational policies
Maintain equipment and ensure the training environment is safe and organised
Requirements
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a relevant discipline
Strong knowledge of sport-specific techniques, rules, and safety procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct diverse groups
Organisational skills to plan sessions and manage schedules effectively
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
Passion for sport, fitness, and fostering personal development in others
