The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and developing athletes or participants, fostering a positive environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Responsibilities

Plan and deliver training sessions tailored to the skill levels and needs of participants Motivate and encourage athletes to achieve their personal bests Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support development Ensure all training activities adhere to safety standards and organisational policies Organise team practices, matches, or events, ensuring smooth operations Foster a positive team environment that promotes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition and report any maintenance issues Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements of participants

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching roles Strong knowledge of specific sports disciplines and coaching techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants Organised with the ability to plan engaging training sessions effectively Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential Passionate about sports, fitness, and helping others reach their potential Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
