About the Role:

As a

Nursery School Assistant

, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching team and assisting with the care and development of children in our nursery. You will help ensure the children's needs are met throughout the day, supporting their learning, care routines, and overall well-being. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with younger children and is eager to contribute to their growth and development in a fun, engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Children:

Assist with daily routines, including toileting, nap time, snack time, and general care.

Learning Support:

Support the delivery of the Montessori curriculum by assisting with educational activities and helping children explore new concepts.

Classroom Assistance:

Help set up and maintain an engaging, clean, and organized learning environment.

Supporting the Teaching Team:

Collaborate closely with teachers to ensure each child's developmental needs are met.

Monitoring Well-Being:

Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times, providing emotional and physical support when needed.

Parent Communication:

Occasionally interact with parents to provide updates on children's progress.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, and passionate about working with young children. The ideal candidate will have:

A genuine love for working with children aged 2-4 years old. Some experience in a nursery or early childhood care setting (desirable, but not essential). The ability to work as part of a friendly, collaborative team. A willingness to assist with care routines, including toileting, sleep, and snack time. Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
