You will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development while providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to high-quality childcare are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and support engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional and social development.
Supervise and interact with children to ensure their safety, welfare and happiness at all times.
Build strong, positive relationships with parents, sharing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, professional and supportive team environment.
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a clean, organised and welcoming setting.
Assist children with daily routines including mealtimes, naps and play.
Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development in line with regulatory expectations.
Experience & Requirements
Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting - essential
Experience within a baby room -
highly desirable
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Management or leadership experience is advantageous
Full, clean driving licence preferred
A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to supporting children's development
