Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves managing the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage daily routines Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress. Lead activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.

Skills

Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications. Leadership skills to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for engaging with children and parents alike. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A nurturing attitude combined with patience and enthusiasm for working with young children. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

What we need from you

- Recent childcare experience within a setting
- Full time with ability to work shifts between 7am-6pm - TERM TIME ONLY
- Commitment to continual development
- MUST have a full & relevant level 3 in childcare
- Recent experience within in a day nursery

Desirable

- Pediatric first aid
- Safeguarding
-Ofsted inspection experience

All positions are subject to enhanced DBS clearance and 2 satisfactory references
