We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Terminal Operator to join our dynamic team. The Terminal Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our terminal facilities. Reporting directly to the Stanlow Site Operations Manager, the purpose of the Terminal Operator is to operate the Stanlow Terminal within a team, on a shift rotational basis. Maintaining a strong focus on safety, site compliance and productivity and fully supporting the Site Operations Manager and other Operators within the team.
Responsibilities
To effectively run the day-to-day Terminal Operations which includes product transfer, tanker loading, LPG storage, site works and regular documented checks.
Support the Site Operations Manager with the drive for peak performance in the areas of Safety, Customer Experience, Supply Chain Optimization and Financial Targets.
Accountability within the team for performance against both budget and company KPI's.
Adapt to a culture of financial accountability with regards to individual site performance.
To have a dynamic and flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the business through peak winter months (October - March)
Supervise the training of drivers and contractors using the terminal to ensure safe operation of the facilities.
Ensure that all employees, contractors & visitors adhere to the PPE Policy

The role is based at our Upper Tier Comah site, Stanlow which is based in Ellesmere Port
Working in a local team of 4 Operators within a regional team of approx. 120 operational colleagues across 13 locations.
Profile
Industry experience with at least 3 years Process Safety Operation within a team in an Upper Tier Comah operation
We are looking for the successful candidate to meet the following skill set -
Strong focus on safety and experience in adhering to Work Instructions, Risk Assessments, Human Factors, Emergency Response plans, MOC etc...
Knowledge of BS ISO9001 with a strong focus on quality and process management
A working knowledge of mechanical/ instrumentation engineering and LPG experience
A disciplined approach to safety matters to ensure that the Health & Safety Policy of the company is upheld
Computer literacy and a sound knowledge of Windows based packages Capable of shift work, operating under pressure, and willing to devote additional hours as required
