The Opportunity


This position works in the Abbott Diabetes Care division (ADC). The ADC division focuses on providing innovative diabetes care solutions to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes.


As the Territory Manager covering North Central London you'll have the chance to drive patient acquisition, sales, and market share growth of the Abbott Diabetes FreeStyle Libre system and broader FreeStyle product portfolio. You will target ICS/ICB/Health Boards/Trusts and diabetes centres in specialist and primary care, building effective partnerships and educating healthcare professionals on the use of the FreeStyle Libre system.


What You'll Do

Drive patient acquisition and market share growth for the FreeStyle Libre system Target diabetes healthcare professionals and market access customers Build effective partnerships with target accounts Educate physicians, nurses, healthcare educators, patients, and other referral sources Develop advocacy for ADC and its brands Provide outstanding service to target accounts and ensure optimal patient retention Implement and work on projects that maximize opportunities for ADC products

Major Accountabilities

Ensure compliance with quality system requirements Promote ADC products and services to ICB/ICS/Health Boards/Trusts Deliver strategic key messages to target customers Identify opportunities within local target accounts Develop comprehensive stakeholder and influence maps by account Optimize the use of resources and support/education in target accounts Upgrade patients onto FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring system Train and educate healthcare professionals and patients Develop expertise in diabetes therapy area Organize time effectively to maximize customer contact Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction Engage strategic customers and key influencers Attend regional meetings, conferences, and account meetings Interpret sales data to maximize effectiveness

Required Qualifications

Further or higher education Proven sales experience with strong selling skills Experience and proficiency in remote engagement platforms In-person and remote selling skills Strong presentation skills Negotiating skills with the ability to problem solve Strong time management skills Excellent communication skills
