We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within our IT team of nine. The Test Analyst will be responsible for testing business applications software including new functionality, enhancements, upgrades (software and hardware) and bug fixes before they are deployed into the live environments. Also providing assistance for 2nd line support alongside the Application support team. This is a full time, permanent role working 7.5 hour a day working between 8am and 6pm , Monday to Friday. Including working one Saturday in four on a rotation basis with a day back in lieu.

About the role
Plan, prepare and run all test-based activities for clinical and non-clinical systems
Gather test requirements, test and report manual and automated tests.
Produce test scenarios, test conditions and identify test boundaries.
Cover an extended day shift pattern between 08:00 - 18:00 5 days/week and occasional requirement for out-of-hours and weekend working
Work within the Hospital IT team, plan and implement high standards of 2nd line IT application support for all hospital users
Skills and experience required
Understanding structured test methods and processes, including manual and automated testing
Demonstrable knowledge of writing and executing test scripts
ISTQB Certified Tester qualification desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficient with O365
Excellent analytical skills, good numeracy and literacy
Healthcare industry experiences an advantage
Excellent customer focus and stakeholder management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A self-starter with the ability to plan and work with minimal direct supervision
Motivation to stay abreast of the changing IT environment and a drive for continual self-development
