About the Role.

We're excited to be hiring a Test Engineering Manager into our newly formed Engineering team. This is a pivotal, high-impact role, offering the opportunity to own a full E2E test automation suite and support the delivery of a complex technology transformation.


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Test Engineer with expertise in SaaS products, core systems, data and API testing. In this role, you will own the design, development and implementation of automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our systems and APIs. It will be a blend of hands-on delivery along with developing and owning the overall test strategy.


At Billing Finance, the Technology team is small but mighty. As such, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in wider initiatives. These include, but are not limited to, developing and building out our AI capabilities, supporting the Change and Release process and helping us to continue to develop and deliver our technology roadmap.

Responsibilities.

Lead all testing activities and drive the quality culture for technology projects, transformations and BAU. Design, build, and maintain automated test suites, including hands on development of tests. Influence and guide tool selection for optimal performance. Collaborate with 3rd party providers, developers and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Functional and non-functional testing to ensure system robustness including performance, security, and integration. Work closely with product and engineering teams to define quality standards and best practices. Continuously improve test strategies and practices to expand test coverage for operational and data systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Influence and drive 'shift left' testing practices within internal and external teams to ensure a quality first approach.
