Test Invigilator & driver

We need someone who is professional, reliable and a good communicator to help invigilate computer based tests for our client's staff. You will need to be able to work independently.

The work is 2 weeks on, 1 week off on a rolling basis. One week will be in Dartford, the other week will be in Melksham near Bath (Hotel accommodation and expenses provided for this week). You will be working onboard a specially converted minibus that is setup as a testing room. You will need to be able to drive the minibus to Melksham and back for that week. This means you will need to hold a D1 driving licence - if you passed your test before 1997 then you will most likely already have this. You will need to be a confident driver, for reference the size of the vehicle is similar to a large camper van.

Running the tests involves: Welcoming staff onboard the minibus and checking IDs. Ensuring they obey the rules of the tests. Recording the results and sometimes helping staff who struggle with computer skills. Uploading the test results to head office and reporting any issues.

You will also need to do some light cleaning every few days to keep the minibus tidy.

Reasonably computer literacy required: MS Office, scanning documents, email, etc

The days officially run from 0830 til 1630 but you will usually be finished earlier depending on when people complete their tests.

We have other sites around the UK running these tests so you may occasionally be offered work during your 'off week' covering other sites, but this is not required, only if it works for you.
