Test Manager
As the Test Manager, you will lead the testing effort on all software projects across the UK & Ireland and provide support cover when test analysts are on leave. This is a client-facing role, so the Test Manager is responsible for collaboration with project team members and for management of necessary project/test governance and assurance tools to fulfil our obligations.


Key Responsibilities

Test Management: Oversee all test activities within the Implementation UK&I programme of work, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability. Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and sched-ules. Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and the Technical Manager to ensure cohesive and efficient workflows. As Test Manager, you will support a Technical Manager for UK&I in all aspects of delivery by building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues. Testing the solution at client sites, co-ordinating the work of the assigned test analysts. Defect Management: Identify, track, and manage defects through to resolution. Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding test progress and outcomes. Compliance: Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant standards and security requirements. Ensure that Environment and Health&Safety is integrated into all activities and adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance is strictly maintained. Complete all the compulsory trainings related to them. Comply with the information security and data privacy policies and procedures adopted by Amadeus. Report any information security or data privacy incidents or weaknesses immediately. Complete all the compulsory trainings related with information security and data privacy.

About the Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing Relevant experience in test management within complex programmes, ideally in government or airport operations. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor testing teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams and customers.

Must be willing to travel to client sites

during the test phase to conduct and report on testing and liaise with the customer's Test Manager.
